Medicaid expansion is literally a matter of life and death for older low-income adults who suffer from treatable conditions such as heart disease and diabetes. Gaining Medicaid coverage has resulted in an estimated 39 to 64 percent reduction in annual mortality rates for adults aged 55–64. Please expand Medicaid to help save the lives of Texans of all ages.
